For the 2026 season, Gate 1 is now located on Napier St, on the right-hand side of the Windy Hill Bistro entrance. This is also the location of our new ticket booth, with staff available on match days to help with ticket sales and answer any membership enquiries.
Accessing the ground
There are numerous ways to access Windy Hill for our 2026 AFLW home matches.
For those driving, there is no public parking at Windy Hill, and extremely limited parking on Brewster St, Napier St and Raleigh St. We recommend arriving early to ensure you don't miss out on a carpark close by.
For those utilising public transport, there are train and tram options available.
PTV - Train
On the Craigeburn train line, both Essendon Station (550m) and Glenbervie Station (450m) are within walking distance of Windy Hill.
PTV - Tram
The 59 Airport West - Flinders Street Station tram will take you to the following stops, which are a short walk to Windy Hill.
Towards Airport West:
Fletcher St / Napier St #41 (Essendon)
Shamrock St / Mt Alexander Rd #42 (Essendon)
Towards Flinders Street Station:
Accessible and wheelchair seating
For those who require accessible or wheelchair seating, there are spaces available inside of Gate 1 (in front of Standing Room).
