What is Our Take Off Program

Our Take Off Program powers four key pillars that are crucial to Essendon’s path to success. Your contribution will be invested across:

Our Premierships Pillar – The Heart of Our Ambition
Investing in high-performance equipment needs, talent identification programs, player development programs, coaches and football staff development programs and sport science initiatives — giving our teams a competitive advantage to bring home our next Premiership.

Our Heartland Pillar – The Foundation for Growth
Investing in the Club’s strategic projects, capital works, one – off facility upgrades, and infrastructure needs, your contribution helps create environments where players, staff, and our community can thrive.

Our Heritage Pillar – Preserving Pride and Legacy
Investing in the legacy of the red and black. Whether it’s recognizing, connecting, and supporting our past players and staff, preserving and restoring our memorabilia and artifacts, or updating and maintaining our Glory and Fame Museum so our history remains accessible to supporters, your contribution keeps Essendon’s story alive for generations to come.

Our Community Pillar – Extending Impact Beyond the Boundary Line

Investing in the reestablishment of our current community programs and creation of new programs to ensure we continue to develop and grow the Club’s pioneering work in strengthening connection, inclusion and opportunities for the communities which we support such as; the Tiwi Academy, Next Generation Academy, The Long Walk, Challenge and Paralympics Australia.

Essendon’s Take Off Program is delivered through Our Fabric Bombers Foundation with each pillar fuelling our future. Our Fabric was established to ensure that your contribution isn’t just for today, it is an investment in a stronger, sustainable Essendon for decades to come.

Tax-deductibility

All contributions are made in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), and every donation above $2 is fully tax-deductible. Upon receipt of your donation, the ASF will issue a tax-deductible receipt within one month of your payment. Donations are processed and receipted by the ASF in accordance with its terms and conditions and relevant Australian taxation laws. Please note that all donations are non-refundable.

For every $200 Platinum package contribution towards our Take Off Program, $190 will be a tax-deductible donation through the ASF for which they will issue a tax receipt. The remaining $10 is for the purchase of a $10 Bomber shop voucher you will receive as part of your platinum package associated with our Take Off Program, which entitles you to complimentary entry you into the various draws to win up to $13,000 in cash prizes. *T&Cs apply. Take Off Program Platinum Promotion Prize Draw Schedule

• Early Bird Draw 1: $1,000 – Drawn Monday, 23 February 2026
• Early Bird Draw 2: $2,000 – Drawn Tuesday, 30 June 2026
• Major Cash Draw: $10,000 – Drawn Friday, 28 August 2026
